What is EFT?

EFT stands for “Emotional Freedom Technique”.

This is a very effective emotional healing technique which is also able to relieve many physical symptoms.

The theory of EFT is that the cause of negative emotions relates to disruption within the body’s energy system. EFT relates to a tapping sequence of the body’s meridian points to balance any dysregulation in this flow of energy.

EFT is a safe and effective way to rebalance your body’s energy system and rebalance your physical and emotional wellbeing.

What can the emotional technique be used for?

EFT can be an effective way to work with trauma, post traumatic stress, anxiety, fears, phobias and pain.

What is my level of qualification?

I am an Applied EFT Level Two Practitioner. Applied EFT is identical to traditional EFT. There is however some subtle differences:

What is the difference between EFT and Applied EFT?

In the physical sense Applied EFT is identical to traditional EFT. There is however some subtle differences:

  • Applied EFT is taught as a resource tool and not as a therapy
  • Central to Applied EFT is the ‘Common effect principle’
  • Applied EFT can only be taught to, and delivered by qualified counsellors/psychotherapists, hypnotherapists. There is no underlying belief structure as to how it will work.
