Types of Therapy for Adults

I offer one to one counselling/psychotherapy sessions to both adults and couples.
I am an integrative therapist, this means that my approach is holistic and I will draw on different methods which are based on the individual needs of each client.
My aim is place great emphasis on connection, transparency and integrity within my work.

My practice is evidence based, but intuitive and reflective. I have a passion to help others to find their sense of inner peace and emotional wellbeing by engaging in the power of therapy .

EMDR: Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprogramming

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing) is a specialist type of psychotherapy that works by focusing on triggers/memories from the past that are negatively impacting wellbeing in the in the present. EMDR can release those aspects of the past that may form as unconscious triggers by harnessing our natural problem-solving abilities, and in doing so, enables you to move into your future more positively.

EFT: The Emotional Freedom Technique

This is a very effective emotional healing technique which is also able to relieve many physical symptoms.

The theory of EFT is that the cause of negative emotions relates to disruption within the body’s energy system. EFT relates to a tapping sequence of the body’s meridian points to balance any dysregulation in this flow of energy.

EFT is a safe and effective way to rebalance your body’s energy system and rebalance your physical and emotional wellbeing.
